Norman Robert Foster

Norman Robert Foster (born June 1st , 1935) is world famous British-born architect that is known for his reinvention of modern, sleek architectural design.  

Foster is the founder of Foster + Partners, whose company designs internationally. Foster came from a working-class family and was sent to private school at a young age. As he continued his studies, Foster’s interest in engineering and design grew and he began to invest his efforts into observing other architects and their works.

30 St Mary Axe (the Swiss Re Building,or the Gherkin)  in London's financial district by Foster. completed in December 2003 with 40 floors. The tower itself is 180 metres.
